Anne began her career at "grass roots level"as
a sales rep. She progressed to sales management at senior
level, developing a fundamental understanding and working
knowledge of strategic management within a large and complex
business environment.
Working for Blue Chip organisations, including Thomson Corporation
and Reed Elsevier plc, Anne has recently built two successful
national sales teams. The second one involved the launch of
a new imprint for Harcourt Education (Reed) which has already
become one of the market leaders in a highly competitive market
place.
It is this experience that has led her to the belief that
an organisation can only grow through its people. Inspirational
leadership is only successful through skilled management and
a motivated and skilled workforce. Coaching and training is
therefore vital to an organisations’ success.
A Practitioner
Anne is a practitioner. As well as experience in teaching,
she has a modern working knowledge of customer facing slkills,
selling skills and management skills. Her grasp of the theory
which underpins all of these activities (she is one of the
first people in the UK to gain a MA in sales management) ensures
that workshops are relevant, enjoyable and productive.
